First-home buyers turn to East Mackay

FIRST-TIME buyers are turning to regional Queensland areas, such as Mackay, to buy into the property market, according to National Australia Bank (NAB) data published by realestate.com.au.

Rather than purchase in areas like southeast Queensland, where there has been a recent price boom, data shows first-time home buyers turned to areas like Mackay.
